Displaying leadership qualities early on, Dr. Saviers was the student body president at Southside High, Fort Smith. He pursued his passion for the sciences at the University of Tulsa, graduating in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, laying a solid foundation for his future in dentistry. Dr. Saviers' commitment to excellence continued at the University of Tennessee’s College of Dentistry, from where he graduated with his DDS in 1978. His time there was marked by prestigious memberships in Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the Dean Honorary Odontological Society, highlighting his academic prowess.

Professional Establishment 

In 1979, Dr. Saviers returned to Fort Smith, bringing his expertise and dedication to the community by opening Family Dental Care of Fort Smith.

Dr. Saviers is happily married to Barbara, and together, they have nurtured a family of three children - James II, Kelly Ann, and Robert. The family joy extends to his two grandchildren, George and Harris, marking the beautiful continuity of family bonds.
